Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
- Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal diseases and conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Perform endoscopic procedures as required
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families on managing gastrointestinal health
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in medical education and staff training initiatives
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Active medical license in the state of Kansas
- Board certification in Gastroenterology preferred
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of gastrointestinal disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
- 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Level II Trauma Center
Schedule: 24-hour shifts, specific dates
Shifts available at multiple hospitals
Daily Volume: 25 patients
EUS & ERCP experience needed
EMR: Meditech
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
