As a Locum MD/DO in Hematology Oncology, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients with blood disorders and cancers. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care and contribute to our mission of delivering innovative treatment solutions. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with hematological and oncological conditions
  • Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Participate in patient education and support programs
  • Stay current with advancements in hematology and oncology
  • Adhere to all medical protocols and ethical guidelines

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Associate-level experience in Hematology Oncology
  • Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge in hematology and oncology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and treatment
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems

Flexible Scheduling: Monday-Friday, 8a-5:30p

Call: Rotating every 4th-5th week

Level III trauma facility

Daily Volume: 15-18

Setting: Primarily outpatient

Patient Mix: 70% Oncology, 30% Hematology

EMR: Cerner

APP support available

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Paid travel & expenses
