 This contract position presents a unique opportunity to provide high-quality patient care within a collaborative healthcare environment.

In this role, you will be integral in diagnosing and treating patients with blood disorders and cancers, ensuring they receive comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs. You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, contributing to both direct patient care and the ongoing development of innovative treatment protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with hematological and oncological conditions
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
• Perform procedures, including bone marrow biopsies and infusions
• Manage patient care and follow-up, ensuring optimal outcomes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
• Participate in case discussions and contribute to clinical research initiatives
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and disease management
• Document patient interactions and treatment specifications accurately

Requirements

• MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree with a focus in Hematology Oncology
• Associate level experience in a clinical setting
• Active state medical license and board certification in Hematology Oncology
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Experience with electronic health records and patient management systems

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts

No call or weekend requirement

Duties: Hematology and oncology evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, follow-up care, and multidisciplinary care coordination

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Any state license accepted

ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
