As a Locum MD/DO, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and managing oncology cases with precision and compassion. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
  • Conduct thorough examinations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses and treatment options
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Participate in case discussions and team meetings

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Board certification in Hematology Oncology or Medical Oncology
  • Associate level experience in a clinical setting
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Current medical license to practice in the state

Flexible Schedule: 8a-5p, 3 to 5-day workweek

Call Requirement: Every Monday night and 1:4 weekend rotation

Will cover multiple facilities

Patient Census: 12-15 per day

Case Split: 60% hematology, 40% medical oncology

EMR: Epic

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
