As a Locum Hospitalist, you will play a crucial role in managing patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical services. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and treatment plans
• Manage a diverse patient population with various medical conditions
• Collaborate effectively with nursing and healthcare teams
• Conduct rounds and document patient progress accurately
• Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Stay current with medical advancements and protocols

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Board certification in Internal Medicine preferred
• Experience in a hospitalist role is an advantage
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care
• Active medical license in the state of practice

Schedule: Tuesday-Monday, 7a-7p

Daily Census: 4-5 admissions

Duties: Admissions, cross-coverage, and responding to codes (ER MD will run the code)

Will also cover small/open ICU

No procedures required

EMR: Epic

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
