Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical care to hospitalized patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct patient assessments and manage ongoing care
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Educate patients and their families on health management
- Stay updated on the latest medical practices and guidelines
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current board certification in Internal Medicine
- Active medical license in the state of Tennessee
- Prior experience as a Hospitalist or in a similar role
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care
Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
Nightly Census: 6-8 admissions
Daily Census: Up to 20 patients
Shifts available at facilities in Tennessee and Georgia
Duties: Admissions and cross-cover
No procedures required
Rapid response for your patients
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
