This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care in a supportive medical practice environment.

As a Locum MD/DO, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating a diverse patient population, ensuring they receive the highest standard of medical care. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and medical histories
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for various medical conditions
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Educate patients about health management and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Participate in ongoing medical education and training
• Adhere to medical protocols and ethical standards of practice

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Current board certification in Internal Medicine
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Georgia
• Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in Internal Medicine
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care

Schedule: 8a-4p, 4 days per week

Setting: Outpatient clinic

Patient Census: ~17 per day

Team Structure: 3 additional physicians, 1 APP

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
