As a Locum Neurologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, diagnosing and treating neurological conditions. You will work collaboratively with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for neurological disorders
• Perform necessary medical procedures as required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Educate patients and families on neurological health and treatment options
• Stay current with advancements in neurology and medical practices
• Participate in on-call duties as needed

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Active medical license to practice in the state of Virginia
• Completion of a residency in Neurology
• Strong clinical skills and experience in managing neurological conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Prior experience in a locum or contract role is a plus

Schedule: 7a-5p inpatient, 5p-7a tele

Call Requirement: 2 nights per week by phone

Patient Volume: 15 patients

Support Staff: APPs

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
