As a Neurology Locum, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and managing a variety of neurological conditions, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough neurological evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for various neurological disorders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in neurology
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely
• Participate in case discussions and clinical meetings
• Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards in medical practice

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with a valid medical license
• Completion of a residency in Neurology
• Experience in a clinical neurology setting (Associate level)
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Schedule: 7a-7a, specific dates

Call required

Will cover 3 EDs

Duties: General neurology and stroke alerts

Support Staff: Nurses, techs

EMR: Meditech, Patient Keeper, eCW

Board certification required
