Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
• Perform necessary procedures and surgeries as needed
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients on health issues and preventive care
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Participate in continuous professional development and training
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations in the practice

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid medical license to practice in the state
• Strong clinical skills and patient management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to patient care and ethical practice
• Previous experience in a locum or similar role is a plus
• Schedule: 2 weekday and 2 weekend shifts per week

Shift Times: Monday-Friday (8a-5p) or weekends (7a-7p)

Clinical Setting: Labor and delivery

Daily Census: 20 patients

Births Per Year: 1200

Will help with first assist on C-sections and GYN OR cases

EMR: Epic

Support Staff: PAs and CNMs

Must be board-certified
