As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting in various obstetric and gynecological procedures, and collaborating with our skilled healthcare professionals. Your expertise will directly impact the health and well-being of our patients while contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Perform routine examinations and diagnostic tests
• Assist in childbirth and postnatal care
• Manage patient records and document treatment plans
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Participate in on-call duties as required
• Stay updated with the latest medical practices and guidelines

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license to practice in the state of Arizona
• Board certification in Ob/Gyn preferred
• Strong clinical skills and experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
• Prior experience in a locum tenens role is a plus

Schedule: 24-hour in-house call shifts

Level III Trauma

Setting: Inpatient, 24-bed L&D unit

Monthly Volume: ~300 deliveries

Daily Census: 8-10 deliveries, including 2-3 c-sections

Duties: Deliveries and other OB-related surgeries

Support Staff: MDs, CNMs, and MFM available

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
