As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, supporting our existing healthcare team, and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of medical services. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct examinations, assessments, and diagnostic procedures
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Perform necessary surgical procedures as required
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients on health and wellness topics
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Participate in on-call duties as needed

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Virginia
• Experience in obstetrics and gynecology, preferably in a clinical setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing patient-centered care
• Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30a-5p

Daily Census: 20 patients

Procedures: Vaginal deliveries, c-sections, circumcisions, hysteroscopies, hysterectomies, ovarian cystectomies, D&C, etc.

EMR: Epic

Board certification required
