As a Locum Ophthalmologist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, conducting examinations, and performing surgical procedures as needed. You will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and ensure patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat a range of ocular conditions
- Perform surgical procedures when necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Provide patient education on eye health and treatment options
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in ophthalmology
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state
- Board certification in Ophthalmology preferred
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of ophthalmic practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong commitment to patient care and advocacy
- Flexible availability for contract assignments
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
Daily Census: 12 patients
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
