As a Locum Otolaryngologist, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with ear, nose, and throat conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in diagnosing and treating a wide range of ailments while working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose and treat various otolaryngological conditions
• Perform surgical procedures as necessary
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Stay current with advancements in otolaryngology
• Educate patients and their families on treatment options

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
• Completion of residency in Otolaryngology
• Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• Prior experience in a locum or contract role is a plus

Level II Trauma

Schedule: 8a-8a beeper call, specific dates

Setting: Inpatient

Daily Volume: 5-6 consults

Duties: ED cases, performing procedures, rounding on post-ops and inpatients, and consults as needed

Must be comfortable with facial trauma, including mandibles, orbital floors, and lid lacerations

Must be able to work independently

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
