As a Locum Otolaryngologist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating a range of conditions related to the ear, nose, and throat. This position will allow you to collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, focus on patient-centered care, and contribute to improving overall health outcomes in the community.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments for patients with ENT conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Conduct surgical procedures as necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Stay abreast of advancements in otolaryngology practices
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Comply with all medical regulations and safety protocols
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board certification in Otolaryngology is preferred
- Previous experience in an otolaryngology practice
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Current medical license to practice in the state
Level II trauma center
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts
Daily Volume: 2 patients
EMR: Expanse
Must be board-certified
