 This contract position is an on-site role that offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality medical care to pediatric patients in a supportive and dynamic environment.

As a Locum Pediatrician, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat a variety of pediatric conditions, contributing to the overall mission of our practice. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients
  • Conduct thorough examinations and assessments
  • Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and injuries
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
  • Stay current with pediatric guidelines and best practices

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Pediatrics
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge in pediatric medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
  • Previous experience in a pediatric practice is preferred

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts

Duties: Coverage of all admissions and rounds/care for admitted hospital patients

Support Staff: FNP

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
