As a Locum MD/DO, you will provide comprehensive medical care, manage patient histories, conduct physical exams, and develop treatment plans tailored to our diverse patient population. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide ongoing patient care and follow-up treatment
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare and lifestyle choices
- Respond to medical emergencies in a timely and professional manner
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall improvement of services
- Stay updated with medical best practices and emerging healthcare trends
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of California
- Previous experience in primary care or a related field preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to handle diverse patient needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to various clinical situations
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
Daily Volume: Up to 10 per day, including some possible telehealth appointments
Will treat chronic medical problems such as diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, degenerative arthritis, depression, congestive heart failure, angina, and pain
EMR: CPRS
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Paid travel & expenses
