 This is a contract position that requires an on-site presence, offering a unique opportunity to provide high-quality psychiatric care within a dynamic medical practice environment.

As a Locum Psychiatry professional, you will be involved in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, working collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare providers. This role is essential to ensuring our patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide psychotherapy and medication management
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Stay informed about the latest developments in psychiatric practices

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in Illinois
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
• Experience in psychiatric evaluation and treatment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

• Schedule: 24-Hour off-site call coverage, every other weekend
• Setting: Multiple facility locations
• Patient Population: Adults 18+
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
