This contract position is an on-site role that provides a unique opportunity to work within a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care in the field of oncology.

As a Locum MD/DO in Radiation Oncology, you will play a vital role in assessing and treating patients, developing treatment plans, and working closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the quality of care we provide, ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of treatment. 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments and medical evaluations in radiation oncology
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment options and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in oncology

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Monroe
  • Experience in radiation oncology, preferably in a clinical setting
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Knowledge of current radiation oncology practices and technologies

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
