Collaborating closely with healthcare teams, you will be involved in developing treatment plans and providing ongoing support to patients throughout their journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert radiation oncology consultations and treatments
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options and procedures
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in radiation oncology

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Radiation Oncology
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in radiation oncology
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p

Weekend call shifts available

Daily Volume: 12-16 patients, or 8-10 when on-call

Patient Population: 65+

Setting: Outpatient and inpatient

Responsibilities: Inpatient rounding, consultations, ECG, ECHO, nuclear study readings, and some non-invasive procedures

EMR: Cerner

Support Staff: Clinic staff

Must be board-certified
