As a Locum Radiation Oncologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality oncology services, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive radiation oncology services to patients
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
- Educate patients and families about treatment options and side effects
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in tumor board meetings and case discussions
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in radiation oncology
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiation Oncology
- Strong clinical skills and patient management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Board certification in Radiation Oncology is preferred
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
