As a Locum Radiation Oncologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality oncology services, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management. Your expertise will help provide essential support during peak times and transitions, making a significant impact on patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive radiation oncology services to patients
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
  • Educate patients and families about treatment options and side effects
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Participate in tumor board meetings and case discussions
  • Stay informed on the latest advancements in radiation oncology

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiation Oncology
  • Strong clinical skills and patient management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Board certification in Radiation Oncology is preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
