 This contract position is on-site, offering a unique opportunity to provide critical radiological services and contribute to the health and well-being of our community.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and interpreting results, ensuring high-quality patient care. You'll work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnoses and support patient treatment plans. 

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret a variety of radiological examinations
• Collaborate with medical staff to discuss patient cases and treatment plans
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiology practices and technology
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices
• Document findings accurately in patient records
• Provide expert opinions on imaging results to referring physicians
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
• Assist in training and supervising junior staff as needed

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Radiology or eligibility for certification
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Louisiana
• Experience in a clinical radiology setting preferred
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Schedule: Sporadic weekday coverage

No call requirement

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
