As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality radiological services, interpreting imaging studies, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient management. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
- Interpret imaging studies and provide accurate reports
- Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss findings and treatment plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
- Mentor and guide junior staff in radiology best practices
- Stay current with advancements in radiological technology and techniques
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with a specialization in Radiology
- Current medical license to practice in the state
- 1-3 years of experience in radiology (Associate level)
- Proficiency in interpreting various imaging modalities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to high standards of patient care
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety protocols
