As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. You will collaborate closely with our healthcare staff to ensure effective patient care and contribute to the overall efficiency of our radiology department. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
• Interpret medical images and provide accurate diagnoses
• Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging results
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
• Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and practices
• Provide exceptional patient care and ensure patient comfort during procedures
• Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Associate level experience in Radiology
• Board certification in Radiology preferred
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency in using radiology software and imaging equipment
• Commitment to patient care and continuous professional development

Schedule: 8a-4:30p

Daily Volume: ~50 studies and 4-6 procedures

Required Procedures: Lumbar punctures, barium studies, various centesis exams with drains, CT/US biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, nephrostomy tubes, intra-abdominal abscess drainage, chest tubes, and suprapubic catheters

Support Staff: Diagnostic imaging nurses and techs

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
