 This on-site, contract position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care while working within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients using imaging techniques. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and assist in the development of innovative treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
  • Interpret and analyze imaging results to provide accurate diagnoses
  • Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss findings and treatment options
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all imaging practices
  • Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
  • Stay updated with advancements in radiology technology and practices
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support throughout the diagnostic process

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Active medical license to practice in the state of Florida
  • Completion of residency training in Radiology
  • Strong knowledge of imaging modalities and techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred

Flexible Schedule: Night shifts (11p-7a) or day shifts (between 7a-6p)

Case Volume: 7-8 RVUs per shift

Skillsets: General, body, or neuro

Diverse caseloads

Primarily outpatient reads, some inpatient reads

Some pediatric coverage at night

Systems: Philips, iSite, PowerScribe, Epic

Workstations provided

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Paid travel & expenses
