This full-time, on-site position is based in Woodbridge and provides a unique opportunity for entry-level professionals to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic medical practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct imaging procedures and interpret results to assist in patient diagnosis
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop patient treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
• Participate in continuous education and training programs
• Assist in the development of radiology protocols and best practices
• Provide compassionate patient care and address concerns
• Stay informed about advancements in radiology technology and techniques

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license in the state of practice
• Strong interest in radiology and patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Basic knowledge of radiological procedures and safety practices
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Willingness to adapt to new technologies and protocols

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p 

No call requirement

Setting: Hospital

Average Daily Volume: 2-3 consults, 25-40 patients, and 3 scheduled procedures

Skills Required: Mammography (screening & diagnostic), breast US, and breast MRI

Skills Preferred: Breast & stereotactic biopsy, needle localizations, US-guided breast biopsy, and US-guided axillary/lymph node biopsy

EMR: Epic

Additional Technology: Hologic WS

Must be board-certified
