As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions through imaging techniques. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
• Interpret imaging results and provide accurate reports
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop patient treatment plans
• Ensure compliance with medical protocols and safety standards
• Provide consultations and recommendations to referring physicians
• Stay updated with advancements in radiology techniques and technologies
• Participate in continuous professional development and training
• Contribute to patient education regarding radiology procedures

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Georgia
• Completion of residency in Radiology
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using radiology equipment and software
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p

Call: Weeknights (4:30p-8a) or weekends (Friday 4:30p-Monday 7a)

Case Volume: 14-18 per day

Case Types: Endovascular procedures

EMR: Epic

PACS: Change Healthcare

Must be board-certified
