 This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced medical practice environment.

As a Radiologist s, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions through advanced imaging techniques. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care while ensuring accurate interpretations and timely reporting of radiological findings.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
  • Interpret radiological images and generate detailed reports
  • Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings and treatment options
  • Assist in developing and implementing departmental protocols
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development
  • Participate in departmental meetings and quality assurance initiatives
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiology and healthcare practices

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Radiology
  • Valid state medical license for New York
  • Experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in a clinical setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to patient care and medical ethics
  • Familiarity with medical imaging technologies and software

Schedule: Weekdays (8a-5p) or weekends (8a-5p)

No call required

Setting: On-site or tele

Case Volume: 7-9 RVUs per hour

Cases: On-site mammography, tele-diagnostic with neuro focus, tele-diagnostic with MSK focus, or general tele-diagnostic

Must be board-certified
