 This contract position is on-site and offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care within the medical practice industry.

As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and interpreting medical imaging to support effective treatment plans. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and participate in various radiological procedures. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to discuss imaging results
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance standards
  • Provide timely reports and consultations on imaging studies
  • Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
  • Stay current with advancements in radiological technology and practices
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff as needed
  • Document patient information and imaging results accurately

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Active medical license in the state of practice
  • Completion of a residency program in Radiology
  • Strong understanding of various imaging modalities (X-ray, MRI, CT, etc.)
  • Excellent diagnostic skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Schedule: 7 on/7 off (1p-9p) or 7 on/14 off (9p-5a or 10p-7a)

Call required

Setting: Onsite or tele

Case Volume: 6-7 RVUs per hour

Patient Population: Adult and pediatric

Diverse diagnostic caseload

Must be comfortable with neuro and fluoro cases

EMR: Epic

PACS: Powerscribe

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
