This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic medical practice environment, providing essential radiological services to our patients.

As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient safety and care. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on utilizing advanced imaging techniques to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
  • Interpret radiological images and provide accurate diagnoses
  • Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging results and patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging studies
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards
  • Participate in case reviews and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Provide guidance and support to medical staff regarding imaging practices
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiology and medical technology

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Active medical license to practice in the relevant state
  • Completion of a residency in Radiology
  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience in radiological practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
