 This contract position provides a unique opportunity for medical professionals to contribute to patient care in a dynamic medical practice environment.

As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and interpreting medical imaging, collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. This position is ideal for an associate-level professional looking to enhance their experience while working in a supportive and engaging atmosphere.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and interpret results accurately
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to discuss patient care and treatment plans
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiology technologies and techniques
  • Ensure compliance with medical regulations and standards
  • Document patient information and imaging results in electronic medical records
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions
  • Provide education to patients regarding imaging procedures and outcomes
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff as needed

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • State medical license to practice in Zion
  • Associate-level experience in radiology or a related field
  • Proficiency in various imaging modalities (X-ray, MRI, CT, Ultrasound)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-5:00p

Some call shifts available

Daily Volume: 100 patient studies between the entire team

Modalities: CT, MRI, PET, and general X-ray; mammo and breast BX's preferred

EMR: Epic

PACS: Merge

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
