As a Locum Urologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating a wide range of urological conditions. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with urological conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Perform surgical procedures as necessary
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and their families about urological health
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in urology
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico
• Previous experience in Urology preferred
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care
• Willingness to adapt to the dynamic needs of the practice

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 2+ weeks per month

Clinic and call coverage

Patient Volume: 15 per shift

Case Types: Kidney stones, prostate biopsies, lithotripsy, radical prostatectomy, bladder lesions, radical nephrectomy, bladder lifts, circumcisions, cytoscopes with dilation, etc.

Some robotics required

Support Staff: 1 RN, 1 MA

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
