This contract position is on-site and offers a unique opportunity to provide critical care in a fast-paced medical environment.

As a Locum MD in Emergency Medicine, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care during emergency situations. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible treatment in a timely manner. This role is vital in maintaining the standard of care that our community expects and deserves.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate medical care to patients in emergency situations
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients
• Stabilize and manage acute medical conditions
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure quality care
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in hospital protocols and procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in emergency medicine

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state
• Experience in emergency medicine or related field
• Strong clinical skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education

Schedule: 8a-8p, 12p-12a, or 8p-8a

Annual Volume: ~14k patients

Must be comfortable with emergent OB coverage

Support Staff: APPs, Hospitalists

EMR: RPMS

Any state license accepted

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
