As a Locum MD in Emergency Medicine, you will play a vital role in assessing and treating patients in emergency situations. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
• Assess and triage patients based on medical need
• Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Participate in emergency department meetings and training sessions
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Stay updated on best practices and medical protocols in emergency medicine

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine preferred
• Valid medical license to practice in the state
• Experience in a fast-paced emergency department setting
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Commitment to patient-centered care and safety

Flexible Schedule: 8a-8p, 12p-12a, or 8p-8a

No call requirement

Annual Volume: ~14k patients

20-bed hospital

Must be comfortable with emergent OB coverage

Support Staff: APPs, hospitalists

EMR: RPMS

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Paid travel & expenses
