Description
As a Locum MD, you will provide essential medical services in the fields of Endocrinology and Ob/Gyn, ensuring the highest standards of care for patients. Your expertise will play a critical role in bridging the gap in medical staffing, helping to maintain quality care in various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care in Endocrinology and Ob/Gyn
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Participate in case discussions and provide expert recommendations
- Educate patients and families about health management and treatment options
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state
- Experience in Endocrinology and/or Ob/Gyn
- Strong clinical skills and patient management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-4:30p
Weekday and weekend call coverage required
Daily Volume: 12-14 patients per weekday, 10-15 per weekend day
Patient Population: Fertility patients
Egg retrievals and embryo transfers are required
Support Staff: 2 MDs, 3 APPs
Must be board-certified
