This contract position is an on-site role that provides a unique opportunity to deliver exceptional healthcare services within the community.
As a Locum MD, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of health conditions, while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered medical care in accordance with best practices
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and medical histories
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses
- Develop treatment plans and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Participate in on-call duties as required
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Oklahoma
- Experience in Family Medicine or related field
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to high-quality patient care
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Schedule: 4x 10-hour shifts or 5x 8-hour shifts per week
No call requirement
Patient Census: 12-16 per day
Duties: Routine and preventive care, management of acute and chronic illnesses
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Any active and unrestricted state medical license accepted
Paid travel & expenses
