As a Locum MD, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, diagnosing and treating a variety of health conditions, and contributing to the overall well-being of our community. This on-site position allows you to work closely with experienced healthcare professionals, ensuring that you develop your skills and knowledge in family medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages
• Conduct thorough examinations and assessments
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
• Develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Participate in continuing education and training programs

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of California
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of family medicine
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Basic understanding of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced medical setting

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

No call requirement

Setting: Outpatient ambulatory clinic

Patient Census: 15-18 per day

Patient Population: Ages 18+

Support Staff: MAs/MORs

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
