This on-site, contract position presents an exciting opportunity for medical professionals looking to make a significant impact in patient care within the medical practice industry.

As a Locum MD, you will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients, ensuring their health and well-being while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care. This role is vital in supporting our clinic's operations and enhancing the overall patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to patients of all ages
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
• Perform routine check-ups and health screenings
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare providers
• Educate patients and their families on health management
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Stay current with medical advancements and best practices

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Active medical license to practice in Arizona
• Experience in family medicine or primary care settings
• Strong clinical skills and patient-focused approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and patient rights
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus
• Schedule: 4x 10-hour shifts per week, Monday-Friday
• No call or weekends

Setting: Outpatient only

Patient Volume: 12-15 per day

Patient Population: Adults

Duties: Standard outpatient primary care and chronic illness treatment

Minimal GYN for symptoms as needed

Support Staff: Additional physicians, midlevels, and RNs

EMR: RPMS

Must be board-certified

Any active, unrestricted state license accepted
