Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with hematological disorders and malignancies
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Perform clinical procedures as required in a hematology oncology setting
  • Collaborate with nursing and support staff to coordinate patient care
  • Advocate for patient education on disease processes and treatment options
  • Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary meetings
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Stay updated on advances in hematology and oncology practices

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification in Hematology Oncology is preferred
  • Associate-level experience in a clinical setting
  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Active medical license in the state of practice
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts 

Minimum call, phone only

Setting:  Outpatient, onsite and remote

Daily Volume: ~8-10 to start, then ~12-15 patients

Case Types: 50/50 hematology /medical oncology

EMR: Mosaic

Must be board-certified 

Paid travel & expenses
