 This contract position is an on-site opportunity that provides the chance to work in a dynamic medical practice environment, delivering high-quality care to patients in need.

As a Locum MD, you will play a critical role in managing patient care, conducting assessments, and coordinating treatment plans. Your expertise will contribute to the well-being of our patients and the overall success of our medical team. 

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Document patient interactions and care plans accurately
• Participate in hospital rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Stay updated on best practices in internal medicine

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Current medical license to practice in the state
• Experience in hospitalist medicine or internal medicine preferred
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3 hours per day

No call requirement

Setting: Remote

Daily Volume: ~100 over reads (25-30 ultrasounds, remaining are plain film)

Must be board-certified
