This contract position offers an on-site opportunity to provide exceptional medical care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

As a Locum MD Hospitalist, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive medical services to patients, managing their care, and collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes and ensuring quality healthcare delivery within our medical practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care to hospitalized patients
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient information
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Participate in hospital rounds and case discussions

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts
• Experience in Internal Medicine as a Hospitalist preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts

Admissions: 7-12 per night at one location, 10-18 per night at another

Closed ICU

Minimal procedures, if any

Support Staff: APPs, residents, and attendings

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
