 This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to work within a progressive medical practice focused on providing exceptional care for high-risk pregnancies.

As a Locum MD in Maternal Fetal Medicine, you will play a critical role in assessing and managing complex pregnancies, collaborating closely with obstetricians and healthcare teams to ensure the health and wellbeing of both mothers and their babies. Your expertise will be essential in delivering comprehensive care and contributing to our mission of advancing maternal-fetal health.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultations for high-risk pregnancies
• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Collaborate with obstetricians and healthcare professionals
• Monitor and manage complications during pregnancy
• Educate patients and families about maternal-fetal health
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records
• Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary meetings

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Completion of residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine preferred
• Board certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Strong clinical skills and experience in managing high-risk pregnancies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Current medical licensure and certifications

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p) or 24-hour call (8a-8a), specific dates

Must be able to read fetal echos

No deliveries

Support Staff: RNs, NP, sonographer, dietician

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
