As a Locum MD in Maternal Fetal Medicine, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing complex maternal and fetal conditions, conducting ultrasounds, and providing counseling to expectant mothers. Your role is vital in supporting the healthcare team and contributing to positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage high-risk pregnancies and fetal conditions.
- Perform specialized ultrasounds to monitor fetal development and well-being.
- Provide comprehensive prenatal care and counseling to expectant mothers.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in maternal fetal medicine.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Deliver compassionate and evidence-based care to patients and their families.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Valid medical license to practice as a physician.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p) or 24-hour call (8a-8a), specific dates
Must be able to read fetal echos
No deliveries
