We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) specializing in Nephrology  As a Locum MD in Nephrology, you will play a crucial role in providing temporary medical services to our clients. Your expertise in Nephrology will be instrumental in diagnosing and treating patients with kidney-related conditions. Responsibilities:

  • Determine appropriate tests and procedures for diagnosing kidney-related conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with kidney diseases.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment regimens.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately.
  • Stay updated on advancements in Nephrology and incorporate best practices into patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment options.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree with a specialization in Nephrology.
  • Valid medical license to practice as a Physician.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating kidney diseases.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care.

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 1 week per month

Level III trauma facility

Daily Volume: 3-9 consults

4-bed inpatient dialysis unit

CRRT available, plasmapheresis as needed

Support Staff: RNs

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
