 This on-site, contract position presents a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care within the fast-paced and critical field of neurosurgery.

As a Locum MD in Neurosurgery, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical services while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with neurological conditions, performing surgeries, and contributing to patient management and recovery plans. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
  • Diagnose and treat various neurological disorders
  • Perform neurosurgical procedures with precision and care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Participate in continuous education and training sessions

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid medical license to practice in Washington State
  • Completion of a residency in Neurosurgery
  • Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
  • Prior experience in a similar locum role is preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p

Daily Volume: 8 clinic patients, 3 procedures

Clinical Duties: Outpatient clinic appointments, surgical procedures, post-operative rounding, consultations, etc.

EMR: CPRS

Any active, unrestricted U.S. medical license accepted

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
