We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) specializing in Neurosurgery . Responsibilities:

• Performing neurosurgical procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Assessing and diagnosing patients with neurological disorders.
• Developing treatment plans and providing recommendations for patient care.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Participating in rounds, consultations, and case conferences.
• Documenting patient information and treatment plans accurately.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in neurosurgery.
• Participating in continuous education and training to stay updated on advancements in the field.

Requirements:

• Medical degree with specialization in Neurosurgery.
• Valid license to practice as a Medical Doctor.
• Proven experience as a Neurosurgeon or in a similar role.
• Excellent surgical skills and knowledge of neurosurgical techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.

Level I trauma

Schedule: 8 to 12-hour shifts

Daily Volume: 1-2 emergent surgical cases

Will cover emergent ED cases

Procedures Required: Brain bleed stoppage, clot removal, tumor removal, trauma repair, shunt insertion or revision, spine stabilization and reconstruction, vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty, spinal fusion, laminectomy, and diskectomy

Team Structure: 2 additional neurosurgeons

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
