As a Locum MD, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services to our patients. You will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care while managing a diverse range of cases. This role is integral to our mission of improving women's health and supporting families in the Gainesville community. 

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct thorough examinations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Perform surgical procedures as necessary
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals
• Document patient information and treatment plans accurately
• Participate in patient education and counseling
• Stay current with medical advancements and best practices

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license in the state of Florida
• Completion of residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge in Ob/Gyn
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care
• Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and schedules

Schedule: 5p-7a, 5-10 shifts a month

Annual Deliveries: 3,300

Support Staff: Midwife, physicians on call, and residents

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
