 This on-site, contract position offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality care in a supportive medical practice environment.

As a Locum MD, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to our patients. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients while working on various cases that highlight your expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct routine examinations and health assessments
• Diagnose and manage a variety of Ob/Gyn conditions
• Perform necessary surgical procedures as required
• Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Educate patients on health management and wellness
• Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license to practice in the state of Michigan
• Experience in obstetrics and gynecology as an Associate
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Knowledge of current medical practices and guidelines
• Commitment to patient-centered care

Schedule: 24-hour unrestricted call, 7a-7a

Setting: Inpatient only

Delivery Volume: 1K per year, 2-3 per day

Will cover the ER

No abortions, but will perform D&C for miscarriages

Circumcisions preferred

Support Staff: Midwife

EMR: Allscripts

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
