 This on-site, contract position offers an exceptional opportunity to provide high-quality healthcare to our patients while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

As a Locum MD in Ob/Gyn, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive reproductive health services, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, and gynecological treatments. You will work closely with a team of skilled healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care in a thriving medical community.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in obstetrics and gynecology
• Conduct routine check-ups, prenatal visits, and health assessments
• Perform labor and delivery procedures as required
• Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other medical professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Ob/Gyn
• Active medical license in the state of Texas
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge in obstetrics and gynecology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

Flexible Schedule: 24-hour beeper call shifts, 7a-7a

Callback Volume: 1-2 per day

Delivery Volume: 80 per month

Support Staff: First assist, hospitalist, ED physician, MFM, neonatologists

Board certification required
